Context
My goals
Quilly is a community-driven platform designed to help college women build real friendships through small, supportive circles.
My goal when creating graphics for Quilly was to translate its core mission into a creative, approachable, and community-driven visual language. Through playful designs and relatable storytelling, the content celebrates belonging, vulnerability, and connection. Each post reinforces Quilly’s core promise: a space where girls can show up as themselves, feel understood, and build real friendships that make campus feel like home.
Designing belonging, one post at a time
Quilly’s social design language established by Jasmine Lillis, blends retro web and early-internet references with expressive typography to create a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and approachability. By balancing candid photography with collaged elements and a core color palatte, the system remains cohesive while allowing room to adapt across announcements, conversations, and cultural moments, keeping the brand recognizable and flexible.

Modifying Quilly's design system to fit different themes
Collaborations and special events often required a departure from Quilly’s standard post structure. By leveraging the flexibility of the design system, I was able to design pieces that remained true to the brand while responding to the unique needs and tone of each subject.

The Quilly Postcard Maker
The Quilly Postcard Maker was one of the first projects I worked on at Quilly. The goal was to introduce a sense of play and interactivity into the brand while boosting engagement with our new website. These posts were designed to support the launch of the Postcard Maker across social platforms.
